Welcome to this week's Newsletter

This Saturday is Armed Forces Day, when the nation recalls the loyal service given by the men and women in uniform who keep us safe.

We reflect on the unique nature of military service and the range of personal liabilities which differentiate the military from civilians.

However our Armed Forces would achieve nothing if it was not for the products and services provided to them by the companies listed on BDEC, but neither would those products and services be of any value if we did not have the men and women in uniform to use them.

On Saturday why not go to an event and meet some of these people. Raise a glass to them. We must never take them for granted.

And here I must report that all good things come to an end. Sadly I have to tell you that this is the final BDEC newsletter as we close down on 30 June. I hope you have found the newsletters interesting and sometimes thought provoking.

I wish you all well as you forge ahead, jumping the Brexit fence and achieving the sunny uplands of future business outside the EU.
